This Privacy Policy explains how OwnWork HQ (“we,” “us”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit ownworkhq.com (the “Site”). We are committed to protecting your privacy in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Spanish data protection law and applicable US state privacy laws.

- Information you send us: if you email us, we receive your email address, name (if provided) and the content of your message.
- Usage data: with your consent, we use Google Analytics to collect information such as pages visited, time on page, approximate location (country/region), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the Site.

- Technical logs: our hosting provider may process IP addresses and server logs for security and performance.
We do not ask for, and do not want, sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, tax returns or financial account details. Please don’t send them to us.

4. Third-party services

- Google AdSense (if enabled): third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings or at aboutads.info. - Hosting: Hostinger, which processes data necessary to host the Site.
- Affiliate partners: if you click an affiliate link, the partner may set cookies to attribute the referral, under their own privacy policies.
- Consent management: Complianz, which stores your cookie preferences.
5. International transfers
Some providers, such as Google, may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where required, these transfers rely on adequacy decisions (such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or standard contractual clauses.
6. How long we keep data
- Emails: as long as needed to handle your inquiry and for up to 2 years afterwards, unless a longer period is legally required.
- Analytics data: according to the retention settings in Google Analytics (we use a maximum of 14 months).
- Cookie preferences: as described in our Cookie Policy.
7. Your rights
If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, such as the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
If you are a US resident, depending on your state (for example, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and others), you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to access and delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information and targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information for money. Using advertising cookies may be considered “sharing” under some state laws; you can opt out through our cookie banner, and we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals.

8. Children
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including HTTPS encryption. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last revised.
